Ladies Into Practical Shooting ("LIPS")

Women are buying guns in record numbers for various reasons to include personal protection along with various other shooting activities. Ladies Into Practical Shooting (LIPS) is a new women’s group in central New York providing women with training in:

1. Safe gun handling
2. Cleaning, maintenance and operation
3. Proper storage and carry
4. Correct shooting forms
5. Sighting and targeting
6. Class room and range activities

Other - getting together to enjoy other outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, snow shoeing and more.

The Deerfield Fish & Game is providing classroom and range for training. It has encouraged members of other clubs host meetings and range activities on a rotating basis offering more variety of learning experience.
